Welcome!
Most days I have to pinch myself to make sure we actually get to live here and make our living here. It is so beautiful! Oftentimes, walking around the farm elicits a rapid heartbeat followed by frantic list-making (and that's a good thing! We like to stay on top of our tasks and be reminded of what is pressing). Lately though walking around the farm brings great joy and a sense of accomplishment. It is difficult to find a weed anywhere. Fall storage crops are thriving and bring a sense of security for the future. Summer crops are getting harvested right on time, at their peak of perfection, and we get to share that bounty with you.
In the midst of a very busy season for all of us, it is nice to pause and appreciate just how good we have it. We hope you feel the same.
We dug some summer potatoes to make room for fall crops.
Storage crops growing in the field. Bottom to top: carrots, potatoes, onions.
Winter meets summer: baby celery and chard plants for winter in front of summer tomatoes.
Thanks for your support,
