Dear CSA,
Are you all staying dry? Down here in Williamsport, we have been absolutely pounded with rain this weekend, causing severe flooding in many areas of the farm and gardens. In just 24 hours we got over 8 inches of rain, and as I sit here writing it is still raining steadily! Needless to say, things are very wet and soggy, making it difficult to work the ground. We are extra thankful on days like this for our greenhouses and tunnels that give us dry spaces to work! Even amidst the rain today we were still able to plant this week’s lettuce crop, and accomplish other farm chores that needed our attention.
Speaking of needing attention, I’ve got to get back to helping Joshua.
