Welcome to Week 5!
You will notice that your box value has increased this week, and will stay this way until the end of the season (15 more weeks). We still don't have tomatoes, but they're coming along nicely and will be here soon!
This week we started to raise the frame on a new employee housing setup. It feels crazy to try to tackle such a project (building an employee house) during our busy season while we're already short staffed, but it also feels necessary and like a step towards improvement.
We also planted all of our fall and winter storage carrots and potatoes, and our storage beets are seeded for transplanting in a few weeks. In the pictures here you will see our crew of Lily and Spencer hand seeding carrots, along with Rémy and Kat cutting microgreens. Scott, our delivery driver, always hides from pictures, and Katherine is usually behind the camera!
