Happy July 4th!
Since the holiday falls on a Monday, we will be at work during the day (plants don't observe holidays, unfortunately)! We sincerely hope you all will be doing something enjoyable with good people around and lots of great food. Lest you think all we do is work, we might be able to stay up late enough to catch some of the Hope fireworks display, but no promises!
We are in Week 6 out of 19 in the summer CSA. We are starting to have cherry tomatoes! They'll be available in limited quantity this week; many more to come soon. The cool weather has given us a bumper crop of broccolini, so we have an abundance of that right now.
We are still looking to fill a position as a crew member in August and September. If you or anyone you know is interested in part time, short term work that will mostly involve harvesting, please let us know and see the full posting on our website, www.moosemeadoworganic.com/jobs.
