Hello and welcome Week 12!
We are officially in mid-season for the CSA, but we are definitely over the hump as far as summer work goes. Every season has a flavor, or theme, or mood, and so far it has been delightfully mild, mellow, average and calm. Sure there have been hiccups (like our summer carrots have been a bust and our early bell peppers succumbed to disease), but for the most part, thanks to a fantastic crew that includes returning people and streamlined systems, overall the season has felt easy. The ease is also due to our fantastic, supportive members (that's YOU!) who make our work feel worthwhile. So here's to a (hopefully) boring, uneventful, placid rest of summer!
