Happening 10/23
Farming is much more pleasant when the temperatures are below 90. We are grateful for these beautiful fall days. Veggie crew harvested our corn that will continue drying for future cornmeal and popcorn. We didn't get much, but a little bit to enjoy on the farm. On the contrary, we have plent1 read more »

This has been an exciting week, as sweet potatoes and winter squash are making their way from the fields to a comfortable place to cure for the next couple of weeks. We are loving the chilling mornings and cool evenings! And our fall veggies are too. We've seeded everything out in the fields now, and all we have left to plant are more greens in the high tunnels. This weekend marks the turning from summer to fall. And I must admit we are enjoying the shorter evenings with cooler weather. Cooking up lots of peppers and enjoying fresh, crisp salads.
