Happening 10/23
Farming is much more pleasant when the temperatures are below 90. We are grateful for these beautiful fall days. This has been an exciting week, as sweet potatoes and winter squash are making their way from the fields to a comfortable place to cure for the next couple of weeks. We are loving the chilling mornings and cool evenings! And our fall veggies are too. We've seeded everything out in the fields now, and all we have left to plant are more greens in the high tunnels. About the farm
Caney Fork Farms is a 400 acre organic vegetable, multispecies livestock, and chestnuts agroforestry farm in the hills of Middle Tennessee. We raise cattle, sheep, and pigs using organic practices. Our livestock are grazed and fed in a way that is optimal to their health and quality of life. Subsequently, these practices improve the land and sequester carbon into the soil. Special attention is given to their rearing so that the final product that you take home is of the highest quality, leaving you satisfied and nourished. Our vegetables are certified organic.
